My source is personal experience with my 57's and 63's. My 57's were rebuilt by PK about 12 years ago and sound great. My 63's needed new panels at about the same age. I am trying to decide whether or not to have them rebuilt by Kent. Maybe his rebuilt panels are better than the factory. I am sure that his assembly is better than the factory. My speakers made 3 trips to the Quad repair center in Fredericksburg, Va. even when new. fortunately, I do not live too far from there.
