RE: Quad 57 versus Quad 63 panels

I do not think that is true.

Kent (awesome guy, and I bought Art Dudley's (RIP) 57's from him) gave me a priceless piece of advice years ago:

ONLY POWER ON THE 63 WHEN YOU ARE GOING TO LISTEN

They charge instantly. There is no detriment to sound quality. But leaving them powered all the time drastically decreases panel life.

I have 63s and 988s showing zero signs of age after 5-10 years.

I only listen a few hours a week.
