spent a LOT of time developing, designing, investing time and money into
expanding what their instruments were capable of from a technical aspect.
So did Jack Casady, who ended up with Alembic #001.
As far as walking out on the Dead, I was fortunate to see their shortest set
(45 minutes at SNACK in 1975), about the amount of time it seemed to
take for them to tune up normally.
Not being a fan, I was grateful for the short set it being my only time seeing them live.
