If, according to Charles, the transport is able to know exactly what bits are coming off the disk, then where is the jitter?And if the tweaks do indeed address jitter in reading from the disk, then what of using a data disc? Use a data disk, pull the data into a small memory buffer, and you don't have to worry about jitter when reading from the media.
