I'm thinking about getting a Behringer DEQ2496 to use in conjunction with other various room treatments in my listening room in the fall. I've read that the stock DAC in this unit is pretty good.

I was wondering if you felt that the Behringer DAC would be better than that in the RCD-970bx player. Thoughts of using the Rotel as a transport with this unit have been dancing through my head...

I know that you abhor this player, but I would appreciate an honest answer. Please, no "absolutely anything would be better than this piece of crap", alright? ;D
