RE: Pioneer SX-727 vs mid 2000's Onkyo AVR

I'm going to go with the Pioneer. Not because it's vintage, but because I have heard them. An impressive piece of audio.

One caveat though is those units are in need of restoration. But the Onkyo isn't too far behind it either.
