I tried the tuner again today and suprising- the stupid thing went to stereo right away. This is frustrating as you never know when it will or will not work. Needless to say I took the cover off and turned the 3 pots in the area of the chip while the tuner was on. Nothing happened what so ever while turning the pots. It never went out of stereo. I might just leave it at this point and save up for the Rotel RT 1084 down the road. Its working for now.
