Re: does your 310b not have a mpx output?

Hi, David:

You mixed up the model numbers in your post, but if you are referring only to my 310-D, the unit came equipped with a MPX out, which is how I used the monaural tuner to connect it with my Scott 335 multiplex decoder.

I do not keep up with all of the other variants out there, but there might be many for all I know.

Keep in mind that I got the tuner for nothing at all.

Incidentally, I just picked up yet another Kenwood KT-8300 and it is working nicely without anything being changed in it since it was new.

I've been cleaning it up, however. I have always been most impressed with the quality of construction exhibited by the Kenwood folks. I just wish that other manufacturers had followed their fine example!

In comparison, my KT-8007 sounds a bit more "lush", but both are fine pieces of vintage gear in my humble opinion.
