I own about 8 pieces of Scott gear (gotta thin that herd). And I agree with your comments on looks, and it's not limited to tuners. Scott stuff looks, well, cheap. Fisher stuff looks ok, Marantz stuff looks great. Scott stuff generally sounds terrific, however. I don't care for the crank-um tuning caps, either.My favorite pieces are the 310E and the 299B integrated amp. I haven't heard the power amps. Sonically, I'd put a 310E up against anything (given a good signal).
