Which tuner to get and getting the most from it. Thank God, for the radio!

HD FM vs DAB! Are they the same?
DAB seems quite successful in the UK. The local classical station in my area has begun to broadcast in HD. Is this the same as the European DAB?
Will a UK DAB tuner work to recieve the current US HD broadcasts or do I need the new HD tuners that are being released here in the USA?
I am perticularily thinking about the Arcam Solo with a DAB tuner as well as analogue FM.
