Hi, jcmusic:To me, at least, switching to monaural will (1) eliminate all multipath distortion, (2) greatly increase the signal to noise ratio in favor of a much quieter presentation, particularly if you are trying to pull in a very weak and distant signal in the first place and (3) allow you to move around in your environment and not have to be situated right in the middle of your speakers all the time for optimum effect.
That is, unless you like to listen over headphones, where only the signal to noise issue might be paramount in importance. I mean, who likes to listen to a noisy signal?
Therefore, you would be an ideal candidate for my fully restored, recently aligned REL Precedent FM monaural tuner!
Got big bucks?
