I live in an area that has rules about antennas on the roof (like, not allowed). But, my roof is flat and if I were to mount an APS-9 and a rotator so that it's no more than two feet above the roof, no one would see. I seriously doubt that any of my neighbors are really going to care, but I'm trying to be good :-)So, should I automatically assume that this would be better than mounting it in my attic just below the roof with a net elevation loss of 3-4 feet? I'm thinking it's inside, no environmental issues to deal with and the antenna and rotator might last longer with less trouble, etc.
Thanks.
Eric.
