I got my T-100 about 2 weeks ago, which is a very good looking tuner in a very clean condition. Every thing works fine except that the audio output is always in mono even when the stereo light was on.My guess from looking at the service manual is that the FM stereo decoder IC MP1310P on the MPX board might be defective. Does anyone has experience in replacing the decoder? Do I need any adjustment after replacing the IC?
I measured all electrolyic capacitors (all ELNA caps) on the my T-100 and after 28 years, they are all still within spec.
