Yes I totally agree.I,ve posted about this little Gem of a tuner
before.If you think it,s good now,spend another five dollars and
do the upgrades.I did it and this little tuner then goes from
great to utterly fantastic.I also have the original porta pro
phones and while not as cheap as the tuner they are also another
gem.This is the best sounding PORTABLE headphone I have heard.The
feature that I believe you are refering to that has been deleted on
the pro 2 is an adjustment for ear pressure and angle of the driver
to your ear.I find this a very useful feature,as on some portables
the bass can be a little to warm,Yes folks these phones are unbeliev-ably warm and rich like you,ve never heard in a portable phone.I find
that adjusting the switch to the light setting gives a slightly less
warm and more airy sound stage with some units.This Sony FM tuner is
a total sleeper IMHO.Just bought the Sony DEJ 100 cd player,also
very good,and absolutely no skipping with the G protection,and that
little corded remote is the cats meow.$50.00 US.Portables are a
smokin deal these days.Duane Upshaw
