I have to agree. I really like my Shewood S-5000 Mk V. in fact I have two of them. With a really good antenna they pick up surprisingly well. I have had Scott350, Fisher KM60, Kenwood and overall I liked and kept the Sherwoods. Hard to explain, just something there...I think it might be the voices
