I am a little confused by your request-
Tuner alignment is needed periodically -
that period depends upon a number of factors-
w/ SS tuners - it is the aging / drift of some components -
it typically evidences itself with a loss of tuning ability or precision-

the "chirping" you mention - not quite sure what to make of it...
