CD Player problem.

Hi All,

I recently replaced the ne5532 opamps in my player with some
opa2604‘s with decent results. The original circuit used .047uf
de-coupling caps, which I decided to experiment with. I swapped the
.047’s with 1uf tant’s bypassed with .001 ceramics.

I put it back together, fired her up and all was well for about a minute.
Then, there was a POP, then low volume and a lot of distortion from
The right channel. The left channel is fine.

I then replaced all the de-coupling caps with the original .047’s
And replaced all the opamps with new ones. The problem still exists.

All passives seem to be intact with their correct values.
Any and ideas on how to correct this problem would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Ned
