when I switched (for a few weeks) from my 300B's to a Sony VFET solid state, I immediately heard the way the ss grabbed that woofer and wouldn't let go.Pretty nice, made me wonder what I'd been missing, but the search for a 'good' ss amp to run with 104db speakers is a frustrating one.
