As others have said you need to find out what impedence your amp is seeing. Also does the amp ever get very warm or hot? Is it in a well ventilated area with nothing on top and no shelf above it? 4 eight ohm loads do need to be wired series parallel for the amp to see 8 ohms. In parallel it could be as low as one ohm nominal and will drop lower at certain frequencies. How high is the volume typically set? Are the remote volumes all set low? If so raise them up and lower the amp volume. BUT you must find out the impedence your amp is seeing. Just use an ohm meter. This is a very important starting point. You shouldn't be toasting amps so fast.ET
