HELP!! What could be wrong with Sansui 9001

Hi to all!!....
I am a little stupid when it comes to this riddle...I need some suggestions as to what could be wrong with my Sansui QRX-9001 receiver. The right channel (and sometimes the left channel) does not function. I cleaned everything twice with electronics cleaner and got everything working for a short while (a few hours) then the same problem occurs. Little or no volume in mostly the right channel...in both the 2 and 4 channel modes. Now for something even weirder!!...when I pick up the receiver sometimes everything starts working!! It is almost like when I twist the chassis a little, the channels start to work...this doesn't happen everytime though. I have looked as closely as I can and am dumbfounded...nothing looks loose but I could be wrong. Could somebody out there give me a starting point????
