Re: speaker/biamp crossovers

The LC (and R) values are scaled to the output impedance they see. Speaker impedances vary with frequency but are relatively low (<100ohms at peak and generally under 20 for most of the range).

A passive crossover would have its values scaled for the relatively high and relatively stable input impedance of the amp. It is actually an easier job to design these.

However, scaling from one to the other may not be a straight-forward translation since custom networks compensate for their varying load.
