Hi.
..if you were so lucky to own a 240V AC cooling fan in 100V-120V AC line areas.
..if half speed will get enough air volume blowing to do the job effectly.
My experience finds halving down the supply voltge did not get enough
juice for my two AC cooling fans for different application. So I settled for series caps for my isolation power iron & SCR dimmer for the other room ventilation fan which need variable speeds.
