"If you used zip with your Quads, chances are you were not hearing them in their best light."You have evidence for this assertion that there is some sort of causal relationship there? We weren't getting the best out of the Quads but that was due the room acoustics and set up limitations (including WAF). But we can do very well with our present speakers.
