If you want to know what electronics terms really mean, a technical dictionary is better than an ordinary dictionary. If you want to know about medical terms, a medical reference work is better than an ordinary dictionary, even the OED.
If you want to know what philosophical terms really mean, forget an ordinary dictionary. You really need some technical works like the The Dictionary of Philosophy, but even so, many of he meanings are disputable and controversial.
So, when you want to know about DBTs, then you need a knowledgeable source to tell you--and jj is himself such a knowledgeable source. Ordinary language cannot very well be used to describe things outside of ordinary experience and usage. That's one of the main justifications for developing technical language.
