I don't agree at all that their are none out there trying to improve components and wires. I know many who have invested their lives and fortunes to doing so. I don't understand your negativity; why do you think their is no effort to improve audio? I also don't understand why some think that anything they cannot understand must be a scam rather than devoting thought to how the device or innovation works. As the saying goes, build a better mouse trap and the world will beat a path to your door.I have no answer to your posting on grounding save to suggest once again that their are limits to our understanding of electronic, including grounding. I particular I am struck that some push always for safety while others are concerned about the adverse effects of grounding wires. Should we give up safety for sound or sound for safety? Is there a way to have both? Why would you expect there to be agreement? Could that only be reached were there evidence as to what is superior?
Why do resonance control devices work and why do some sound better in some circumstances? What frequencies need control; is tight grounding to earth or are elastic materials best? Theory, if there are any, should result in testing hypotheses and presentation of data and results. Why anyone one would engage in this effort without a profit motive escapes me, but maybe universities will do so.
