Now, when they say "this makes an audible difference" we get into the factual claim department. It doesn't matter then how wierd it looks, the valid thing to do is to test it and see if it produces an effect that is ONLY audible.If somebody likes a terminally "whacky" tweak, that's fine, until they start making scientific claims, like that it changes the sound, or uses quantum physics at a macroscopic scale, or whatever...
