Really? Mofi sells MP3s? Reference Recordings? Sheffield? Do any audiophile labels, which, ostensibly, put quality over everything else, cryo their discs? For upwards of $20 to $40 a disc, they can afford just about any fancy process they care to tack on to improve quality.SACD and DVD-A were dead before arrival, as DVD's were already cramped for space, video-wise, and a new format was inevitable (Blu-ray or HD-DVD.) CD's were around for over 15 years before competing digital formats were introduced. It's been barely 7 years since SACD/DVD-A, and Blu-ray and HD-DVD are right around the corner.
