Cable Asylum is full of questionable advice for using speaker and interconnect cables as hidden signal EQ’s and power cables as hidden power conditioners. The really whacky part it is – assuming this all is not listener imagination (I suspect it is) – this system tuning is a totally random process. Not only are these mysterious cable features unspecified by the manufacturers, but they claim it’s highly system dependent.
That way these cable vendors can continually keep milking audiophiles to upgrade as much as their imagination will allow. Best if your cables can “articulate speech and musicâ€!
