Well, I wasn't, but I had to disagree with y
all about hearing aid vendors. I know there are some sleezy ones and I don't doubt that somebody misused the term, but y'all way off when you say that AI is a "crude 1950's...". First, its roots are in the 1930's, and there's nothing crude about it. Just look, if y'all will, how the AI fits to the first 20 critical bands according to Scharf, eh?Coincidence? I doubts it.
