How the heck do you "blow" a Shure 57? I have used 57's and 58's for years. Seen them dropped, tossed around, knocked over, stepped on, and they still work. Look, Ma! No batteries!

I'm a saxophonist myself, and have been using Shure 57's and 58's for sax for years without problem. I prefer the 58 with switch.

But I have a very large mailing list of touring pros. Let me shoot out a few emails, get some comments for you.
