Re: dj equipment frustration- bad sound quality

I'm just playing it through the master out into my living room integrated amp now and it's a lot cleaner. It's not high-end hi fi, but it's not the crap coming out of the headphone amp. I can't believe a dj mixer, even if it's a cheaper one, would have such a rinky-dink headphone amp!!

I still think the numark dual cd player should sound at least as good as a mass market dvd player, and it doesn't quite get up there. I think it's jitter..it's just harsh. Then again, it has less than two hours of use..
