Here is my take on USB cables. USB cables all sound different. Not much different than interconnect cables. Some interconnect cables have networks, others have active shields, etc. It is very difficult at this point to declare a "best" USB cable. One USB cable will have better bass, another better highs, etc. It is really what is complementarity to YOUR system.At this point, I am getting terrific results with an Audioquest Diamond. But the endless sampling of USB cables for me is over, just as I don't keep trying different brands of interconnect cables. But I do enjoy reading other folks' adventures.
