Seperate Type "A" connections on USB cables makes a big difference.

Live and learn:

I designed and constructed a pretty good USB cable that I called the LA002. Even though I am not in the market to commercialize this cable or and product, I have continued to play with this and other cable and other equipment designs.

I decided to physically seperate the two individual internal (inside the final sheath) interconects with Type "A" Usb connectors on the Power and Data cable ends. I plugged the two Usb connectors (instead of one) to my MACH2 Mac-Mini from my Ayre QB-9 DAC.

The improvement in sound quality with the dual connections has stunned me!
