When you talk about "adequate crimping pressure", you are touching on the dilemma. In order
to crimp wires together one needs a metal tube into which the wires to be connected can be
inserted (provided one is not using a spade-type connector, which we agree is to be avoided if
possible) AND a suitable crimping tool. I have yet to find one that is really adequate for this job.
