Hi Lew. More variables than grains of sand on a beach. I don’t think I recall you saying that you experienced this midrange dip? I emailed Roger West about it and he suggested doubling the net 12ohms at 100 watts to 24 ohms. This is to bring down the 500Hz high pass to 250Hz. Well I tried it and it pretty well works. The only thing is that I still have a dip between 90-250Hz. I have emailed him again, I should have a reply in a few days. I will give the Zero’s a try next as I have now modified the backplate for Bi-amping, I will use 2x/2.75x and see how it goes. I will also substitute my VT150 amps and see if the curve is silmilar. I think it will be a few days before I find the time for this.
