Shovel snow? It's about 70 degrees out right now. Well I never...It's normal to hear a bit of hum out the speaker with the bias switch activated.
If you remove the amp's input cable, and connect all the XLR connectors pins together just for a bit with a piece of buss wire, does the hum go away?
While I'm thinking of it, what's the efficiency of your speakers? Exactly which version (vintage) of the M-60 II MK do you have? Does it have pi filters in the driver supplies?
