Well it might seem that way. But I have heard similar results
almost anywhere I use Vishays. This includes in passive volume
control circuits. In the input section of a couple solid state
amps. But no, I have not done this to any OTL's. Same with
the MIT caps. Have used them in inputs of capacitor coupled
solid state and tube amps. These two items do have a similar
sound relative to other components they replace whenever I have
used them. I have also used them in the feedback circuit of
the output op amps on DACs. And in line level crossover circuits.
I believe similar results in OTL's would be likely. But one cannot
be certain without doing just that.
