I read somewhere, the expression. "The Hollower the Barrel, the louder the noise." I add to that the SIZE of the barrel also.

Which applies to bass reflex enclosures, not full horns.

I would think the average age of people here, likely "retirement age." would have moved way past the long posts well beyond the most basic of points of beginners.

I was wrong.
