thanks for the head nod to my Super Heresy 1 Mod. I have 10 of them. 8 serving as surround channels in my Living Room Atmos system. And one spare loaner pair in the basement.
4 of which will be replaced when I put my modified TD-1's back in service, (a personal Thanks to Tom Danley for the help). Synergy Horns, sealed or ported are simply the best in a very small (but Dense/heavy package).
I had several pairs of the FH-1's as full SP-1's (cheap Scalas was my nickname). I believe they were designed by former EV engineers, and are superior to a LaScala bass bin at bargain prices. I still have 1 pair left for fun experiments.
The "new" LaScalas are the hybrid replacement for the original to make "pretty" to replace the belle Klipsch that Paul named after his first wife. They have, essentially tracked inflation, so realtive to 1970's pricing, they are still better than "Audiophile" speakers that are less capable and cost way more per pound and cubic volume and generate low distortion volume, they should be used with a sub.
