Tom, according to the EDS data sheets the T35,T350 and 8HD were diffraction horns that always should have been vertically aligned. It's long been a puzzlement why Paul Klipsch mounted them horizontally. I'd have asked him when I met him in '73 but I'd never see a data sheet for them, nor did I know at that time what a diffraction horn was.
