It's a great little speaker if you like a leaner, uber clean presentation. They can play fairly loud considering the size of the driver, but will never be totally satisfying on rock or larger scale material. Yes, this with a sub in play as well. To my ear, the mids were just too lean and lacking in warmth for my taste. Might have a chance to sound more balanced in a desk top setting. On the plus side, excellent build quality and Louis (the owner) is a great guy to deal with. If I ever revisited Omega, I'd opt for a model with larger drivers. As always.... YMMV.
