Some will even pop out the voice coil on top plate.

Bangs the back plate, signal reversal, coil leaves the top plate, does not recenter in gap and hangs up on top plate, end of sound (voice coil and sometimes spider).

Run a warped record on turntable and watch those "Loudspeaker Cookbook said it doesn't" Vifa P21 jump to 5 hz input. Crank that volume knob and listen to the "thunk, thunk, thunk" of the backplate.
