I finally bought a couple pairs of bluetooth over-ear headphones.....

1. Shure Aonic 40
2. AKG K361BT

The Shure headphones have a nice app. download that lets you tweak the sound to your liking. The earcups could be just a smidge larger though and the clamping force is a teeny bit on the strong side. The stock sound is VERY good though, even without tweaking. If I had to describe the sound signature, I would call it neutral. The bass that they have is very natural and satisfying. I picked them up at Micro Center and paid a paltry $100. bucks on a pair of $249. retail priced headphones. The build quality is also excellent considering the low price paid. The ANC works well in noisy environments and the call quality and microphone capability is very good as well. These headphones are a definite "steal" for $100.!!!

The AKG's may possibly be the most comfortable headphones I have EVER worn. The earcups are nicely sized and they fit nicely on your head. The headphones are tuned to the "Harman Kardon curve", which supposedly takes into account the average of what most people like to hear in a headphone. I am NOT a "bass head" when it comes to headphones, and prefer a more "natural" presentation. Having said that though, these headphones for again $100. bucks deliver a sound that IMO exceeds by 4 or maybe 5x their retail price! Some people have even claimed that they best some headphones costing in the neighborhood of 1K!!!!!! I don't know about that, but they sound damn good to me!!! Could the build quality be better? Of course! But again, the sound AND comfort for the price paid cannot be beat!!!! You can listen to them at your nearest Guitar Center. Some people have claimed there is a HUGE difference between the bluetooth version and the wired version but I could not tell the difference. The AKG's do NOT have ANC if that is important to you and they do take a micro usb input as opposed to the newer usb C input. But to me the sound and comfort outweigh those two issues.....YMMV....
