Thought I share my experience, I have the Lambda and SRD-7 Pro version. I used to use a Scott LK-48-B integrated, when I replaced my main amps which were the Quicksilver M135 monos I then incorporated the rest of my main system to run my headphones. My new system was an all BAT system 50SE Pre, VK10 phono. This made a huge difference in overall sound, currently I use a REX Pre driving a 75SE amp for the headphones. This took the sound to a totally new plateau, and I attribute the amp to be the greatest factor.
