I just sold a pair

They are very good headphones.

Opinions will vary on sound quality (I prefer the Denon sound by a wide margin, but that's a personal thing).

But in the comfort dept they are not in the same league as the Denons.

The material on the earcups is much more comfortable on the Denons. And they fit over your ear really nicely. The ATH-1000X's sat right on top of the ear (much smaller cup) which was a little uncomfortable for me.
