I've owned D5000's and D7000's. They are very hard to beat in the comfort dept.
My first cans were AKG K701's. They are pretty well known for their lack of comfort. The beads on the inside of the headband cause pressure on your head. They're tight and clamp onto your head.
My Stax SR-507's are very lightweight and also very comfortable.
But for comfort nothing beats the Denon's, in my book.
