I play the AN E also not totaly in the corners
1 ft. from the frontwall and 2 ft. from the sides
they are 13 ft apart listening position is around 15 ft
i find the sound totaly in the corners to dark for my taste
About the AN E speakers you cant go wrong with this speaker it is very good i tryed a lot of speakers before but the the AN E is the best i ever heard!
These speakers play always good but they deserve a very good amplifier
they are specialy made for the best amps one can get SET , single ended triode.
These amps altough are very sensitive on speaker match, they need a speaker that is friendly for them an easy load and a higher efficiency then most of the "normal" speakers out there.
You can start with the AN E and you will have very good sound,
you will be impressed! later you can get the best out of them with a good set amp
