I contacted PQ, who said:
"The Es need to have the tweeters at ear height to sound balanced, so you can theoretically get away with a lower stand, but less than 12 - 15 cm is not advisable."
So im aiming at this halfway solution. I orderd my local metalworker to make some stands at 13 cm. They plates will be 5-8mm, and They will boxlike, so i'll be able to fill in sand to at least 100kg (so mass and stiffness isn't a problem!)
Eventually, If I get the chance, I can "upgrade" the heigh, by replacing the stands - or heigher spikes etc ...
The hiegh is a upgrade anyway, since the tweeters in my AZ-two is only 60cm above the floor ...
