I'm about to get a speaker Kit3 (high 79cm). They are supposed to be standing on the corresponding speaker stands (+28 cm).
However, my girlfriend is freaking out about the extra height. She will accept some extra 10 cm (then it aligns with some windows ... or whatever).
I know the speakers are supposed to be on stands, but if thats not an option - what do i do:
1) Make my own metal-spike-speaker-stands, with a high of 10 cm .. and fill it with a lot of lead/sand (to mimic the original)
2) place the speakers on the floor? (because its better than some homemade "halfway" solution)
3) Don't buy the kit, because the sound will be ruined (compared to the price), if the are not on the correct 28cm stands
