I asked Brian if I could use my HiB trannies from an M3 I have and all I would need to do to keep the original board is to add a resistor at the input. So, that being said it seems that it will be possible to use your board with only minor changes. Hopefully this will be the case with all of the potential transformer choices. Much easier than a new board of course, especially for those of us that are using pricey NOS tubes.
